For the remaining installments to The Covers EP, we are thrilled to share a deconstructed take on Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music’s More Than This.

Some songs are so perfect that you don’t even want to try covering them. When looking at songs for The Covers EP, I ran up against this issue a lot. More Than This feels like one of those songs, and I felt that the only way it could work would be if we deconstructed it into something entirely new, which is what we set out to do here. Cynthia Tolson’s string arrangement carries the song into a completely new place. This is the only song on the EP that doesn’t feature another guest vocalist, but Cynthia’s voice as an arranger, performer and engineer is certainly present throughout.
